Audrey Stone

Stone's luminous color bands shift through subtle gradients that register on an almost physical level, while her multi-panel works invite chance into an otherwise precisely controlled practice.

Audrey received her BFA from Pratt Institute and her MFA from Hunter College. She received an Artist in the Marketplace fellowship from the Bronx Museum of the Arts, and has been a resident at the Surf Point Foundation in York, Maine. In 2023, Stone was elected a member of American Abstract Artists, the historic artist-run organization. Stone’s work has been exhibited across the United States as well as in Europe and Asia. 

She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, and the Hudson Valley.
